Greetings Social Host,

We are happy to share with you how to make the bracelets for the bracelet making activity. There are five bracelet styles: Polished Gemstone, Filigree Wrap, Morse Code, Pearl Memory Wire and Floating Crystal. Click here to see the styles and colors available. Each style has a video tutorial below.

Video Tutorials

In each video, we will show you how to make the bracelet step by step. We include tips and tricks to make hosting each bracelet activity easier for you. Feel free to make a practice bracelet on your own while watching the video. These videos are for back-of-house only and should not be shown to guests.

Polished Gemstone Bracelet

This bracelet style is available in different colors that look great worn together!

  • If a guest has a larger wrist, offer them extra beads from the SoHo Kit. Spool of clear elastic cording and tape measure are provided in the SoHo Kit if a guest needs longer cord.
  • Clear nail polish is provided in the SoHo Kit for you to dab on knots of Polished Gemstone Bracelet for guests. This will act as glue to secure the knot.
  • Show your guests how to wear the bracelet by rolling it on and off, so as not to stretch it out.
  • For a gender-neutral choice, the Metro Gemstone Bracelet can be offered for this activity. This alternate version is made using the same technique as Polished Gemstone, but leaves out the crystal spacers and charm. It includes 2 extra beads to make the bracelet larger.
  • For this activity, guests will share scissors and masking tape.

Filigree Wrap Bracelet

Mixed metals and filigree beads make this wrap bracelet a stunner!

  • This is made using the same technique as Boho Chic Wrap Bracelet.
  • Bracelet wraps around wrist 3 times. If there is a guest with a larger wrist, suggest she try on display bracelet and make bracelet so it wraps 2 times instead of 3, if desired.
  • For this activity, guests will share scissors.

Morse Code Bracelet

The beads on this bracelet spell out the secret message “Bon Voyage!”

  • Bracelet wraps around wrist 3 times.
  • If there is a guest with a larger wrist, suggest she try on display bracelet and make bracelet so it wraps 2 times instead of 3, if desired.
  • For this activity, guests will share scissors to trim cording, a silver paint pen to dab on cut ends, and chain-nose pliers to attach charm.

Pearl Memory Wire Bracelet

This memory wire bracelet has no clasp so it’s easy to make and easy to put on and take off.

  • This bracelet uses a new tool, looping pliers. We have included instructions on how to use the looping pliers in the Pearl Memory Wire Bracelet Video Tutorial.
  • Memory wire is too hard to cut with scissors or regular wire cutters. Memory wire cutters are provided in the SoHo Kit in case the memory wire needs trimming.
  • For this activity, guests will share masking tape, looping pliers and memory wire cutters.

Floating Crystal Bracelet

The cords in this bracelet weave in and out of the beads to create a floating effect.

  • Bracelet wraps around wrist 3 times.
  • If there is a guest with a larger wrist, suggest she try on display bracelet and make bracelet so it wraps 2 times instead of 3, if desired. This is a great option since she will have a higher concentration of beads per wrap.
  • Fun to wear as a necklace with the heart clasp in front.
  • For this activity, guests will share scissors.
