Catch the ocean breeze with sparkling seashells and shimmering sea glass. We love this craft for kids and adults both because it’s not only fun to make the mobile, it’s fun to find the seashells!

Steps
1. Paint the beads with the different colors of paint. Sprinkle with glitter while wet. Let dry.
2. Cut a piece of twine the length of your arm. Cut a smaller piece of twine and wrap it around a shell, then use it to tie the shell onto the long piece of twine. Slide a painted bead onto the other end of the long piece of twine. Tie on another shell. Slide on another bead. Tie on a sea glass piece.
3. Make 5 different strings of shells and beads.
4. Tie the shell and bead strings to the stick. Then tie two pieces of twine to the end of the stick and hang your beachy mobile outside. Watch it sparkle in the breeze!
We love gathering shells at the beach, but if you find yourself landlocked this summer. Don’t fret! You can get shells at the craft store or even the dollar store!
