How To Make Upcycled Spell Bottles
Tools & Materials
Empty bottles
Krylon Glitter Blast Spray Paint: Starry Night Sky, Citrus Dream, and Twilight Sky
Self-adhesive sparkle alphabet stickers, 1″ to 2″ tall
Self-adhesive sparkle sheet
Taper candles
GooGone
Steps
1. Gather up your bottles. We chose bottles of different heights for interest. Soak the bottles in warm water to remove the labels. Remove stubborn labels with GooGone. Wash and dry the bottles.
2. Spray paint the bottles with the Glitter Blast. GlitterBlast has color and glitter all in one spray. The finish is amazing! But if you don’t have Glitter Blast, you can spray the bottles with purple, green, and black spray paint, then dust with spray glitter. If your nozzle gets clogged with glitter, turn the can upside-down and spray to clear it.
3. Let the bottles dry. Embellish with sticker letters spelling out spooky things like “Eye of Newt” and “poison.” We cut a skull and cross bones from a sheet of self-adhesive glitter paper.
4. Poke your tapers into the bottles and start casting your spells!
