Materials & Tools For Easy DIY Beaded Earrings
Silver or silver-plate wire hoop earrings (with a bent wire and eyelet closure) Ours are 30mm across and the wire is .8mm thick.
Crystal beads, 2mm
Chain-nose pliers
Steps
1. To get started, bend the end of the earring wire straight using the chain-nose pliers.
2. Slide on 15 crystal beads.
3. Bend the wire end back to its original position. Repeat to make second earring.
We find these type of hoops at the craft store. You can get them in silver, silver-plate, or gold. When you pick out your beads, test them to make sure they slide onto the wire hoops. Pearls have tiny holes so they likely won’t fit, but 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm crystal bicones are all great options for these earrings. (We bought this assortment of 4mm bicones on Amazon. We think it’s a great deal!)
