Make an elegant beaded bracelet with a rhinestone and pearl focal piece. This beaded bracelet tutorial will teach you bead stringing techniques you can use to make all kinds of jewelry.
This is the third piece of jewelry we made for our Designer Spotlight on HalcraftCollection.com. If you missed it, we were asked if we wanted to be featured on their site and we said yes! So they gave us a gift card to shop their Bead Gallery beads online and we had a blast. So many gorgeous beads! Here is the bracelet we made. You can also check out the Turquoise And Pearl Earrings and Pearl And Aqua Crystal Beaded Necklace we made too.
How To Make An Elegant Beaded Bracelet
Materials
Rhinestone and pearl connector, 19mm
40 Faceted aqua rondelles, 4x6mm
4 Crimp beads, gold
4 Crimp bead covers, gold
Bead stringing wire, 7-strand, gold
Lobster clasp and jump ring, gold
Tools
Chain-nose pliers
Wire cutters
Steps
1. Cut a piece of bead stringing wire 5 inches long. Slide a crimp bead onto one end about one inch from the end. Slide the lobster clasp onto the short end and loop it back through the crimp bead. Use the chain-nose pliers to flatten the crimp bead. Trim the short end of the wire. Cover the crimp bead with a crimp bead cover. Press it closed with the chain-nose pliers.
2. Feed 20 aqua beads onto the wire.
3. Feed another crimp bead onto the wire. Feed the wire into one of the loops on the pearl and rhinestone connector and then back through the crimp bead. Pull the wire so there is no slack. Press the crimp bead flat. Trim the short end of the wire. Cover the crimp bead with a crimp bead cover and press it closed over the crimp bead.
4. Repeat to make the other side of the bracelet feeding the jump ring onto one end instead of the lobster clasp.
You can make a bracelet like this using any beads. This one would be pretty with pearls too!
