When we found out how to make bath bombs fizz, we wondered if we could work the same magic with fizzy bath crystals. Turns out it’s easy!
A handful of these rosemary and mint crystals will have your bath fizzing and your senses tingling!
Bath Crystals Ingredients
½ cup Epsom salts
½ cup coarse sea salt
½ cup baking soda
¼ cup sour salt or citric acid
Rosemary essential oil
Mint essential oil
Materials & Embellishments
12-ounce jelly jar
Purple satin ribbon, 3/8″ wide
1 flatback Swarovski rhinestone, Blue Zircon, 5mm
2 flatback Swarovski rhinestones, Blue Zircon, 4mm
Krylon Indoor/Outdoor spray paint, Bahamas Sea
Beacon Adhesives Gem-Tac
1 sheet glossy cardstock
Tools
Mixing bowl
Chopstick
Scissors
Double-stick tape
Toothpick
Steps
1. Mix the Epsom salts, coarse sea salt, baking soda, and sour salt together in a bowl and stir with a chopstick.
2. Add 6 drops of rosemary essential oil and 6 drops of mint essential oil. Stir mixture until blended.
3. Dispense the bath crystals into the jar. (If you have a little left over, save it for yourself! Just be sure to store it in an airtight container.)
4. To decorate the jar, paint the lid with Bahamas Sea spray paint. Wrap the purple ribbon around the neck and tie in a loopy bow.
5. Print the two labels on glossy cardstock and cut them out. Attach the instruction label to the top of the lid with double-stick tape. Embellish the “Fizzy Energizing Bath Crystals” label with the rhinestones using a toothpick to apply the Gem-Tac. Use double-stick tape to attach the label to the front of the jar.
