We love making jewelry for gifts, especially bracelets. Here are four of our favorite bracelets you can make as a gift for a friend or yourself. (You deserve something pretty too!) Each bracelet has a complete video tutorial and step by step instructions. Plus we’re here to help!
Gemstone Stretch Bracelet
These stretch bracelets are super trendy right now. We love how you can wear one alone or several together. We’ll show you what kind of stretch elastic to use, which is maybe the most important part of this bracelet. Then we’ll show you how to double string the beads for added strength. And we have a fun little technique to hide the knot. These stretchy bracelets go on easily so this would be a great gift for someone who doesn’t want to futz with a clasp. And they’re practically one size fits all, a great feature in a gift!
Memory Wire Bracelet
This is another clasp-free design that’s super easy to slip on and slip off. To use memory wire, you bend a loop in the end. That will to keep the beads from sliding off. Then you just slide on your beads. So easy! So this bracelet is a great design to make with kids. Wouldn’t Mom, Aunt Penny, or Grandma (she goes by Mimi!) love to get this handmade beaded bracelet?!
Delicate Beaded Friendship Bracelets
These look pretty alone or stacked. We think your bestie would love a set. We would! The center beads are faceted, so they have a lot of shine. Then the sides are just gold seed beads. We used a cylinder-shaped box clasp, but you could substitute a magnet clasp.
Delicate Crystal Circle Bracelet
How gorgeous is this delicate bracelet!? The star of this design is a Cubic Zirconia, 14-karat gold-plated loop connector from Halcraft Collection. Looks like a million bucks, but only cost $10! Amazing! (Here’s a link to buy it.) We think this bracelet is a real stunner.
If you have any questions or need any help making any of these bracelets, or doing any jewelry project, we are here to help. Leave us a comment. And we’ll reply.
Happy Crafting (It’s half the fun of Christmas!),
Jennifer & Kitty
This bracelet is beautiful. I would love to make a few. Would you be able to share the tutitorial with me?
