How To Make A Memory Wire Charm Bangle

Materials & Tools

6 Swarovski crystal bicones, 4mm
1 Gold letter charm
Memory wire, gold, Large Bracelet size
Wire cutters
Round-nose pliers

Steps

1. To make one Memory Wire Charm Bangle, start by cutting a length of memory wire equal to one complete coil plus one half inch.

2. Bend a small loop into the end of the memory wire using the round-nose pliers. This will keep the beads from sliding off.

3. Feed three crystal bicone beads onto the memory wire. Slide on the letter charm. Feed on three more beads.

4. Finish the bracelet by making another loop in the other end of the memory wire.

Memory wire is is permanently shaped in a coil. It is called memory wire because even when you pull it apart it remembers the shape it was in and goes back to it. Like a Slinky! It is made in bracelet size and necklace size. The coil you see in the package is the size of the bracelet or necklace you can make. For this bracelet, we used a package of memory wire labeled “large bracelet.” This is the perfect wire to use to make memory wire bracelets.
