Make a little album filled with BIG fun! This cute little matchbox mini album is a fun project to make for friends.
Materials
1 matchbox (with matches removed), 1½” x 2″
11 photos, approx. 1″ x 1½”
printed light blue scrapbook paper
solid purple scrapbook paper
magenta alphabet stickers, 1″ tall (ours were puffy and glittered)
small stickers: butterflies and stars
white craft glue
double-stick tape
scissors
Steps
1. Cut a piece of the light blue scrapbook paper to fit around the top, one side, and the bottom of the matchbox. Glue to the outside of the matchbox, leaving the match-strike side uncovered.
2. Cut a strip of purple paper to fit inside matchbox drawer (our strip was 2″ x 8″). Glue one end of the purple strip into the bottom of the drawer. Fold the rest of the strip back and forth so each rectangle is the same size as the first one.
3. Attach photos to both sides of the folded paper strip using double-stick tape. Decorate with stickers.
4. Slide the drawer into the matchbox. Spell out “BFF!” on the top, then decorate with stickers.
