How To Make Flying Straw Toppers

Materials for the Ladybug Straw Toppers

red craft foam
black craft foam
1 purple pipe cleaner
6 big black acrylic gems
2 googly eyes
1 bendy straw
Beacon’s Craft Foam Glue
scissors

Steps To Make The Ladybug

1. Cut a circle out of red craft foam. Cut a stripe and a half circle out of black craft foam.

2. Glue the black stripe and black half-circle onto the red circle. Glue the googly eyes onto the black half-circle. Decorate the ladybug’s back with black gems.

3. Wrap the pipe cleaner around the straw to make it spiral and remove it. Glue the ladybug onto the end of the pipe cleaner. Bend the straw, then twist half the spiral onto the straw.

How To Make Butterfly Strawtoppers

Cut a butterfly shape out of craft foam and decorate the wings with gems. Make curly antennae with pipe cleaners!

To Make Bumblebee Straw Toppers

Cut a circle out of yellow craft foam and stripe it with black craft foam. Decorate the stripes with black gems and add curly pipe cleaner antennae.
