We just noticed the lavender and rosemary are blooming! So we took our clippers out and got some fresh cuttings for a salt scrub. If you don’t have fresh lavender or rosemary, no worries, dried works great too!
Materials
4 oz. jar with lid
2 oz. sweet almond oil
1/2 cup coarse sea salt
chopped rosemary or lavender leaves (fresh or dried)
5 drops of lavender essential oil
5 drops of rosemary essential oil
Steps
1. Blend salt and almond oil in a bowl. Stir in leaves and essential oils. Spoon into jar.
2. Print the label and attach to lid with glue dots. (Option: You can laminate the label with a strip of packing tape on the front and a strip of packing tape on the back, if you like. Sandwich the label then cut it out and attach it to the lid.)
This salt scrub is coarse so it’s perfect to exfoliate feet and hands!
