Girl’s Pink Ballet Flat Shoes
Canvas Duck Natural
Plaid Apple Barrel Craft Paint: Pink Polish #21379, Blue Cotton #21886, Bright Magenta #20591
Black Paint Pen
Purple Satin Ribbon

Steps

1. To make the kitten shoes, start by finding pink ballet flats. Paint a ten-inch square of canvas with the pink paint that matches the shoes. Let it dry. Paint the reverse side. Cut four triangle-shaped ears out. (Two for each shoe.) Paint the edges of the ears if needed. Paint the inside triangle of the ears light pink. Let dry. Fold the bottom of each triangle unde 1/4 inch and glue that folded part to the shoes using the Fabritac.

2. Paint a piece of canvas with the light blue paint. Let it dry. Next, cut four circles out to be the eyes. Make black pupils in the center of each blue circle using the black paint pen. Glue the eyes onto the shoes using the Fabritac. Paint a piece of canvas light pink. Let dry. Cut out two heart shaped noses. Glue one onto each shoe.

3. Cut a 10” piece of ribbon and tie it into a bow. Glue it onto one of the ears on one of the shoes. Repeat for the other shoe gluing it onto the opposite ear. Draw whiskers and eyelashes on the shoes with the paint pen.

We think it would be cute to make puppy shoes too. Just make the ears bigger and leave off the whiskers.
