How To Make Mod Podge Photo Cubes
Materials and Tools
9 wooden cubes, 2” x 2” x 2”
Mod Podge Gloss
Craft paintbrush, flat and wide
36 color laser printed photos sized to fit cubes (2” x 2”)
Color paper: teal, periwinkle, magenta, pink, golden rod, yellow
Scissors
18 clear stickers (The Paper Studio Stickabilities Family Phrases)
Steps
1. Resize pictures to 2” square on computer or by photocopying. (We placed all our pictures onto two pages.) Print photos on laser printer. Cut into 2” squares. If you want to add maps and postcards, color copy them (reduce size if needed) and cut them into 2” squares. Cut out 18 two-inch squares of color paper.
2. Paint a layer of Mod Podge onto the surface of a square. Lay a photo or color square on top. Paint the top of the photo or color square with Mod Podge. Let dry. Repeat for all the photos and color squares. Do 2 colors and 4 photos per cube.
3. Place a saying sticker on each color square.
Mix the cubes up to make a different display every day!
Isn’t that a fun idea? And you can fit so many pictures in a small space. And play with them!
Happy Crafting.
