Make this Pandora Ribbon Bracelet using pretty scraps of rich ribbons and trims! We love to buy loose ribbons at bead shows. For this ribbon bracelet, we mixed all different textures and colors of ribbon. Then we let the pretty Pandora bead bring it all together!
This bracelet is super easy. Just follow along on the video, then make your own using the steps below.

How To Make A Pandora Ribbon Bracelet
Materials
8 Scraps of ribbon
Large-hole gold Pandora-style bead, 13mmx8mm (4.5mm hole)
2 Gold end caps or bead caps, 8mmx12mm
Pave magnetic clasp, 10mm
24-gauge wire, gold
Scissors
Wire cutters
Steps
1. Lay the ribbons out on your work surface.
Trim off the ends of the ribbons to make all the ribbons 7 1/2″ long. (This will make a bracelet 6 1/2″ long.)
2. Slide the Pandora bead onto the ribbons. It is easier to do this by poking the ribbons through the opening in the Pandora bead one at a time.
3. Cut a three inch piece of wire and bend it into a hairpin. Line up the ends of the ribbons. Tuck the ribbons into the hairpin nook about 1/2 inch from the ends.
4. Twist the wires together tightly around the ribbons. Then feed the wire into the bottom of the bead cap.
5. Feed on one half of the clasp. Then wrap the ends twice around the neck of the wire. Trim the wire ends.
6. Trim the ribbon ends.
7. Line up the other side of the ribbons. Repeat steps 3 through 6 to put the other side of the clasp on this end of the bracelet. So easy!
You can make this Pandora Ribbon Bracelet in any color combination you like! And you can use any bead as long as the hole is large enough for your ribbons.
Happy Crafting,
Jennifer & Kitty
I am a bit confused on the exact way you are wrapping your wire around the ribbon ends – there is not a picture of the completed wire wrap. Should the ribbons ends be sewn together to make them less likely to unravel?
Hi Jodi, Sorry to confuse you. We pinched the ribbon ends in the crook of the wire hairpin, then we twisted the wire tightly around the ends. (Like putting a twist tie on a bag of bread to close it.) After you pull the wire through the bead cap, you can trim all the ribbon ends. They kind of end up tucked inside the bead cap. If you are worried about it not being secure, you can always add a dab of glue. Maybe try fabric glue like Fabritac.
Hope that helps!

I absolutely love the simplicity yet the sophistication of this.
Thanks Vickie!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!
Thank you Liz!
Really love the bracelet. Thank you for sharing. I can’t find the magnetic clasps with the hole through them. Can you advise? Thank you.
Hi Sandy,
We used a regular magnetic clasp with loops like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y7DBVA4/?theonesi-20. Then we added the bead caps with the holes in them. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LG1Y4N0/?theonesi-20
Hope that helps!

I am having a hard time finding ribbon that looks like that. May I ask where you found yours?
Hi Barbara, We bought a selection of ribbon scraps called “thrums” at a bead show. You can find them offered on Etsy
Here are a few:

Michaels has also started carrying nice “grab bags” of ribbon pieces: https://www.michaels.com/search?q=ribbon%20scraps
Hope that helps!

Any ideas on where to find a large hole bead similar to the one you used? Having trouble finding one.
Hi Ellen, These beads are sometimes called “Pandora Beads”. That’s the brand name, but lots of other companies make them too.
You can find them here on Fire Mountain Gems: https://www.firemountaingems.com/shop/add_a_bead_system_collection
We also found them on Amazon. Here are some good ones! https://amzn.to/3B7eIyn
Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and JoAnn usually have these beads too.
Hope that helps!
