We love shell crafts! So when one of our readers asked us for our favorite craft to make with seashells, we decided to do a little round-up! Here are five of our most favorite shell crafts.
Seashell Picture Frame
This one was fun and easy to put together, and we think the addition of pearls makes it a great wedding gift! Click here for the Seashell Picture Frame how-to.
Seashell Candleholder
For this one, we were inspired by candleholders we saw at Pottery barn. (Ours were much cheaper. And plus, it’s more fun when you make them yourself!) See the tutorial for the Seashell Candleholder here.
Sparkling Starfish
This is a fun little craft we did at the beach with our niece and nephew. We loved beachcombing for the tiny shells we used. To make your own, check out how we did it here.
She Sells Seashells Shadowbox
This project started with a cookie cutter! We filled it with small shells, then displayed it inside a shadowbox. Turned out so cute! We did written instructions too. Click here to see them.
Seashell Matchboxes
When we were little, we joined our grandmother in her favorite craft. She would cut pictures out of magazines and decoupage them on matchboxes. We made dozens of them, sometimes adding little toys or sequins to the top! This is our seashell version. We think it’d be fun to tuck a special beachy find inside. Here’s the how-to.
