Mix-and-Match: Since this is a “raid your stash” craft, feel free to mix metals and colors!
Blue Ribbon Idea: Don’t have the ribbons you want left in your stash? We have seen packets of silk, hand-dyed ribbon lengths at bead shows and on Etsy that would be perfect for this bracelet.
I am having a hard time finding the bell cord ends.
Hi Gayla,
So sorry to hear you are having trouble finding them. Sometimes they are sold with materials to do Kumihimo. If you are looking online, try calling them “end caps” or “kumihimo ends” or look for large bead caps. Etsy has a variety of them. Check the size and make sure they have a hole in the end to pull the wire through.
Here’s a quick search we did:

Hope that helps!

Vintaj makes several bead caps that would work for this. Also try AD Adornments.com. The Vintaj company makes patina pints to colorize their metals. Just be sure to purchase the metal sealer as well. I have also used alcohol inks to great effect and success.
Oh yes! We love Vintaj! We’ll have to check out Adornments.com
Thanks for the tips!
